We’re seeking eager and motivated individuals for a Travel Coordinator opportunity. As a Travel Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating all components of travel including air, hotels, car rentals, amusement park tickets, event tickets and other travel necessities for travelers.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age, and be authorized to work within the US.
Must be fluent in English (bilingual is a plus)
Must be able to effectively communicate with clients (strong sales or marketing background is a plus)
Personal travel experience is a plus (but not required)
Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus (but not required)
Responsibilities
Promptly respond to all travel inquires
Become an ambassador for the brand
Handle issues that may arise while booking and follow up with clients pre and post travel
Effectively communicate with clients pre and post travel
Network with tour operators regarding packages that you can possibly offer to clients
Book airlines, car rentals, hotel/resort accommodations, cruises, event tickets, etc…)
Research the best available deals for the client and be mindful of time management
Create exceptional itineraries for clients
Cater to the client’s requests to ensure a pleasant experience designed to meet their needs
Collaborate with team members to improve on client engagement methods and remaining up to date on changes within the tourism industry
Plan trips according to the client’s budget constraints
Use official promotional material and even create your own
Closely monitor travel restrictions
Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized with specific destinations
Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification to book travel
Participate in FAM trips, team trips, and conventions when possible
